DisneyWorld has got to be THE most magical place on Earth! And it's definitely my favourite place in the world. From the moment you arrive you are swept into a magical world filled with music, lights, princesses, colours and sparkles! It's taken me so long to write this blog post, because I simply have no idea where to start! Normally I just write down my highlights with a couple of tips, but there were so many highlights to this trip, so I think I'm going to have to go day by day...
If you're just here to read my tips for DisneyWorld you can do so in a separate post here.
After a long day's travelling, (we left home at 4.30am UK time) we arrived at our hotel in the evening on the 25th of March. We stayed in a Disney hotel which is really cool, as it means that we could get a bus into the parks really easily. It also meant we were surrounded by Disney 24/7! The hotel is called the "Animal Kingdom Lodge" and it has an African Safari theme! We could see animals from our balcony window and loved waking up to spot what would be there that day! We saw giraffes, buffalo, antelope and lots of birds. After arriving, we had supper in the hotel before trying to get an "early" night so we'd be ready to hit the park the next day.

26th March
We managed to get to the Magic Kingdom Park by 9am which is pretty impressive by our standards. We got some breakfast from the Main Street USA Bakery (Starbucks) which we ate in front of the castle! We then made our way around the park. I'd planned the fast passes for the day so that we could start in Adventure Land and make our way round the park (it's pretty much a circle) finishing off back in Main Street USA at the end of the day. It rained in the evening, so we didn't stay to watch the parade and fireworks, but we had supper at the Diamond Horseshoe where we had ranch salad, pulled pork and Smore's brownies! Yummy! We then made our way back to the hotel for the night.

27th March (Easter Sunday)
When we left our hotel room, Mickey Mouse was in the lobby handing out sweets and easter eggs! That's the cool thing about staying in a Disney Hotel! We ate chocolates and had some root beer for breakfast (I know...what a great breakfast?), whilst waiting for the bus to EPCOT. When we got to EPCOT we explored Future World (which is where our FastPasses for the day were) before having some lunch. I had Sweet n' Sour in the Sunshine's Season's restaurant. We spent the whole day exploring Future World before we had some supper in the Marrakesh part of the park. We tried to get into some other restaurants (there's one where you can have supper with Snow White!) but they were all full. That's why one of my top tips is to book restaurants in advance. Eventually I managed to book us into the Moroccan restaurant which was actually delicious! We then had FastPasses for the "Reflections of the Earth" evening show which was a firework, water and fire display! It was AMAZING!

28th March
We didn't have breakfast, as we were still full from supper the night before but we got the bus from the hotel to Hollywood Studios where we had a wander round and used our FastPasses. We went to the Indiana Jones stunt show but it was cancelled halfway through because there was a massive thunderstorm. Everyone said it was crazy because the weather's usually quite good over Easter...instead we went to lunch at the "Backlot Express" which was more fast food. It took us ages to get a table because everybody seemed to have the same idea, but eventually we braved the rain to make our way to the Frozen and Little Mermaid shows (which were amazing!). In the evening we went to the "Hollywood and Vine Springtime Dine" where we had a Buffet with Mickey, Minnie, Daisy, Donald and Goofy! It was really cool and the "true Disney experience"
29th March
We had an incredibly scrummy breakfast at the Rainforest Cafe (in the Animal Kingdom Park) which is an amazing themed restaurant with animals that come to life whilst you're eating and giant fish tank pillars. It's a chain restaurant and there's restaurants in other locations as well, I can't wait to try out the one in London! After breakfast (I had eggs Benedict and a fruit smoothie) we had a wander around the park and had a look at some of the animals. They have tigers, lions and many more! In the afternoon there was another thunderstorm though and we had to take shelter in a shop. They shut down loads of the rides because there was lightning but we managed to go on the ride "DINOSAUR" and luckily it dried up so we could still go on a safari trip around the animal shelters.

30th March
We had a really lazy morning in the hotel and I brought everyone breakfast in bed (Mickey Mouse waffles with strawberries and cream). We eventually made our way to "Blizzard beach" one of the water parks for the day. It was really good fun and thankfully there wasn't another thunderstorm so we could swim all day and have a bit more of a "relaxing" day after 4 busy ones. About 6ish we returned back to the hotel for showers before we had dinner at the posh restaurant "Jiko" in the hotel. I had a steak with passion fruit tart for pudding.

31st March
We had Mickey Mouse pretzels for breakfast (back in the Animal Kingdom Park) before watching Finding Nemo the Musical and making use of our FastPasses. The Lion King show was fantastic! We went back to the Rainforest Cafe for lunch where I had the "Rib, Steak and Shrimps trio" it was AMAZING! In the evening we went back to the Magic Kingdom Park to take part in the Street Party and watch the parade and fireworks! That's the true Disney atmosphere! We didn't have any supper because we were so full from lunch!

1st April
Isabel and I got up really early to make use of the "early magic hours" so we got the bus to the Magic Kingdom so we could go on some of the rides without having to wait for ages! It was so funny because everyone was waiting by the gates to be let in, the Mickey Mouse cut the ribbon and everyone ran to their chosen ride! We then got some Easter cupcakes for breakfast before catching the Monorail to meet the rest of the family in EPCOT. We used our FastPasses (to meet Mickey Mouse and his friends!) before having a wander around the World Showcase where you can explore different countries and learn all about their cultures. We had Bratwurst and Nudelgratin in Germany for lunch but it was so hot that we decided to go back to the hotel for a swim and a cool off before returning to EPCOT for our "Harvest Feast" supper at a rotating restaurant! Great fun but you've got to be careful not to loose your table when you get up to go to the loo...
2nd April
Our last day in the parks before we hit Discovery Cove tomorrow. We had chocolate muffin's from the Hotel whilst waiting for the bus to Hollywood Studios. Isabel and I went on the "Rock n' Roller Coaster" which was possibly one of the biggest roller coasters in the park. It was awesome! We tried to watch Indiana Jones again, but there was ANOTHER thunderstorm and it was cancelled again because of bad weather so we went to the Italian restaurant for lunch. The lunch there was amazing and I had calamari for starter, spaghetti with chicken for main course and a set of mini deserts for pudding! In the afternoon we went to explore the rest of the World Showcase in EPCOT as we didn't get to finish it the other day. In the evening we went back to Hollywood Studios to watch the "Fantasmic Show" which we had special seats for. The show was AMAZING and completely animated on water! Unsurprisingly I was very sad to go back to the hotel in the evening, even though I was really excited for Discovery Cove.
It really was the trip of a lifetime and I had so much fun! I really hope I can go back soon and do all the stuff I didn't get a chance to do! I really could quite happily spend years at DisneyWorld!
